Asian Grilled Chicken
Ingredients:
6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (I only had black sesame seeds)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp fresh ginger, peeled and minced
2 green onions, minced
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil
Combine all marinade ingredients in a ziploc bag. Put the chicken into the bag and seal. Marinate in refrigerator a minimum of three hours, but overnight.
Preheat grill to high. Grill chicken top side down first until well browned, about 5 minutes, turn and cook on the second side about 3 more minutes. Transfer to a serving platter.
I served mine over a salad with cucumbers and a drizzle of sesame oil and rice wine vinegar.

Honey Pork Chops
6 boneless pork chops
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 t. ground ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
2 T. soy sauce (or Bragg's Liquid Aminos)
dash of pepper
Place all ingredients (except pork) into a gallon ziploc bag and shake (or put in a blender and blend). Place pork into the marinade and seal the bag. You may freeze them at this point. Or let marinade overnight in the fridge. I like to grill the pork chops, but the directions say to bake them for 1 hour at 350 (that seems like a long time to me).
